First Community Bank changed their name in 2003 to Venture Bank to better reflect who they were and who they wanted to be in the years ahead. Their bank design objective was to demonstrate unified branding between each of their retail bank facilities as part of their re-imaging efforts. The new exterior design and bank signage had to represent the stability and trust expected by their banking customers. Inside, First Community Bank wanted to demonstrate to patrons their commitment to quality and community by creating an appealing visual theme atmosphere that promoted their full portfolio of banking and financial services.

I-5 Design's challenge included creating exterior facades and signage that worked at each unique Venture Bank location. In the highly competitive banking market, our bank design had to rise above the rest, yet fit in with Venture's new corporate Identity. The First Community Bank interior decors were dated and open with wasted space being a problem at some retail bank locations. I-5 Design had to overhaul the interior decor and visual theme with almost no interruption to bank services.

For one retail bank site, I-5 Design presented an interior and exterior visual themed environment plan to Venture Bank that would eliminate the need for them to raze the existing building and rebuild a new one - and still achieve the signage and exterior facade visual goals. By manufacturing the architectural sign and decor elements at our in-house manufacturing facility out of aluminum, we were able to minimize on-site construction and create durable long lasting bank signs and facade structures. For the interior decor, I-5 Design worked with existing retail bank branding specifications and manufactured specialized signage and interior decor structures for different banking services including a freestanding customer service kiosk. We manufactured large custom wall murals, branded bank signs, and through careful coordination and by pre-manufacturing components at our bank design facility, we were able to reduce impact on Venture's retail banking business to just one day. The result was total customer satisfaction and retail bank designs that met our client's objectives.

Venture Bank - Downtown Olympia Interior and Exterior Design

Olympia, Washington

By creating a double-peak entrance structure for this location, I-5 utilized the previously empty space and created an exterior facade that commands attention on both street fronts. By manufacturing these peaks at our facility we were able to reduce the impact to Venture Bank's business by streamlining the installation to just one day!

We worked with Venture Bank's objectives by creating an appealing visual theme atmosphere that promotes their full portfolio of bank and financial services. We did this by manufacturing specialized signage and decor elements including a freestanding customer service kiosk, large custom wall murals, and branded bank signs.
