Coeur d'Alene Casino wanted to create a dramatic entrance experience to help draw guests into the main gaming floor while incorporating additional food service venues. I-5 incorporated geometric tribal design patterns and custom tribal sculptural elements to give the space a look and feel that creates an immediate impact for guests while tying in well with the rest of the property.

The conceptual design phase provided the casino with ideas to deliver the visual impact they wanted to create for their guests while incorporating the functional changes needed for operations. Decorative simulated birch trees were installed at the entrance to the Deli and along the perimeter walls, creating a natural and inviting atmosphere, which breaks up the long expanse of the hallway. This beautiful design plan accomplished the goals of the casino and the tribe and delivered a high-quality food venue and an entertaining experience for guests as they enter the casino.
The entry portal to the casino includes a a programmable color changing LED lighting system which produced a dynamic draw for guests from the gaming floor.
With a multi-disciplined approach, I-5 manufactured the designs in 8 weeks and shipped them to the casino for the remodel phase.
Manufacturing the decor items in-house allowed I-5 to guarantee high-quality finishes as well as design integrity throughout the project. During the offsite manufacture of the custom décor, our onsite project team mobilized the site and began the planned demolition to facilitate this successful project renovation.
In 6 weeks onsite, the new entrance and upgraded food court area were transformed, providing a high-quality upgrade to the food and beverage offerings.
Close collaboration between I-5 and the Casino teams produced excellent solutions and allowed for the renovation to take place with no downtime to the casino gaming floor.
