An integral part of the Leelanau Sands Casino's Maple Room, the bar needed to strike the same dramatic tone set by the property's other distinctive upgrades. Like all of the updates for the Leelanau Sands property, the Maple Room Bar's design and construction were provided as a comprehensive portion of the project. The intimate, and alluring new atmosphere draws in patrons for a relaxed opportunity to step away from the gaming action, while keeping them in the center of the action.
Location: Suttons Bay, Michigan
Duration 2 Weeks
Project Size: 1,100 sf
Services: Design Build Remodel
Décor for the Maple Room was inspired by the room's namesake tree and the deep, saturated colors of maple leaves in autumn. An equally rich motif for the bar area was conjured by I-5's design team to draw patrons into the corner venue's inviting aura.
Twelve beautifully rendered, custom fabricated, and digitally printed “Maple Leaf” artwork displays adorn the front of the soffit above the bar area. A new maple wood veneer beam skirts the perimeter. The counter facing conceals accent lighting, and specialty pendant light fixtures with translucent amber glass shades add to the warm ambiance of the space. To complete the new design, custom brick wall overlays were applied to perimeter columns.
The new bar ties in perfectly to the rest of the Northern Michigan inspired design of the property, creating an engaging and exciting customer destination.
