Our Approach

DESIGN & PLANNING

I-5 created a complete makeover for the buffet which included the creation of segmented dining spaces and a new interior design for the space which would create an upscale destination within the casino.

A neutral color scheme infused natural materials throughout the space, adding warmth that complimented the natural Pacific Northwest coastline location of the resort.

MORE

Some of the elements created for the buffet included a decorative curving half-wall that sets the buffet apart from the casino floor, tapered wood columns inset with specialty metal accent panels dividing the architectural stone walls, and vibrant LED accent lighting concealed in the decorative ceiling beams which radiate from the center of the space and extend over the walkway directly outside the buffet. One of the décor highlights of the buffet is a multi-tiered circular element suspended over the hostess counter featuring a custom mica chandelier set in the circle’s center.

BUILD & INSTALL

All the key decor elements, including the curved half-wall, oval sign, circular suspended décor element with mica chandelier, and other décor pieces were manufactured in-house by I-5 Design to ensure high quality and complete design intent throughout the project.

Arriving on-site, the pre-fabricated décor elements made it possible for the I-5 installation team to execute a quick, seamless implementation. To enable the opening of the buffet as soon as possible, I-5 coordinated with the casino’s time schedule to complete the renovation.

FINISHED PROJECT

The I-5 team worked around the clock to get all of the onsite construction completed ahead of an important Tribal holiday. The entire remodel was completed in just 6 weeks onsite with no downtime to casino operations. The finished project produced an excellent destination within the property and has exceeded expectations.

"We enjoyed working with I-5 Design and would recommend them to anyone considering a design-build project. We never had to close down or lose business while I-5 was installing our décor. The finished project exceeded our expectations and we are very happy with the results.”
