Located at Route 66 Casino, the all-new Stadium 66 provides the region with a destination sports viewing and betting destination. The project converted an underutilized nightclub and transformed it in to the place for fans to watch their favorite sporting events in a fun and exciting location. Already known for being a premier entertainment destination in the region, adding Stadium 66 created another signature draw for the property and futher strengthened the excelent brand reputation for the property.

Sports Viewing Destination
As the design process began, Route 66 communicated the importance of building on the excellent customer experience that the property is known for. I-5's design team incoporated the latest LED screen technology and designed a space that put the guest at the center of each sporting event. Large video walls were positioned at the back of the bar, and a custom overhead 'jumbotron' style ceiling feature incorporated score tickers and large video displays. Vibrant LED lighting and finishes also enhanced the excitement and fun guests come to expect from the Route 66 property.
The I-5 design team, drew inspiration from a wide variety sporting venues to create the fun and high-energy ambiance for Stadium 66. An upper deck seating area and bar provides a space for groups and larger parties while keeping fans engaged in their favorite games.
Custom Solutions
After creating an iconic design plan for Stadium 66, custom solutions were planned in order to deliver the project with the highest quality and best timeframes onsite. I-5 offsite construction teams created all of the specialty decor elements, pre-integrating LED lighting and video display technology in our quality controlled facilities which reduced the overall timeframes for onsite construction. Using the same 3D design files as the renderings for our the basis of offsite construction, entire decor assemblies were fabricated and prepped for shippment to the site.
COMPLETED PROJECT
Stadium 66 opened it's doors to the Albuquerque gaming market on September 5th, 2019. Customer response to the premier sports bar in New Mexico has been outstanding. This state-of-the-art sports bar and restaurant has become a fan favorite and offers year round sports betting and live sports viewing. The owner has reported excellent results and customer feedback.
